Welcome to the SELSEY MODEL BOAT CLUB'S  NEW web site.

This is a brand new site and some pages are in the process of being built.

When they have been completed we hope you will think it has been worth the wait.

The club meets on Sunday and Wednesday mornings from 10-00am at the pond behind the East Beach Car Park. (There's a map at the bottom of this page)

We use the Selsey pond to sail our radio controlled boats because it's sheltered, has a small launching stage and of course has the car park adjacent but there are a few points that we all try to be aware of. The pond is a local amenity enjoyed by all Selsey residents and we must maintain our good relations with them or we will lose the use of this facility.

That said we hope that you will continue to enjoy your hobby.

Should you need any help setting up radio gear or building your models please ask the members they will be only too glad to assist.

It is intended that this will be a happy and friendly club for everybody.

We hold an evening meeting on the first Tuesday in each month in St. Wilfred's Church Hall in Church Road starting at 7-00pm. All members are encouraged to attend. This enables everyone to keep up with club matters, enjoy visiting speakers and is a good chance to chat with other members, an opportunity not always viable at the pond whilst navigating your boat.
